BOS 125 has a smooth dark yellow-gold exterior with a white interior. The flesh is firm, crisp, and delivers very good Brix and flavor — traits that hold through packing and distribution. Days to maturity run 85–95, suitable for California production regions and international growing areas where Orsetti varieties are trialed.

Post-harvest performance
Firm flesh and a smooth rind are selection criteria in the Orsetti development program. Varieties that do not maintain texture through packing and distribution do not reach the catalog.
Brix and flavor
Sugar content is measured at harvest in field trials. BOS 125 consistently delivers very good Brix readings — the flavor claim is backed by agronomic data, not marketing language.
